The new pipes Aqua- Plus- GF are designed, manufactured and tested for quality in compliance with the standards that apply for the simple polypropylene pipes (EN 15874 & DIN 8077/78) and in accordance with the special instruction HR 3.28 of the German Institute SKZ.
The polypropylene that is used for the three- layer Aqua- Plus- GF pipes (with fiber mechanical aid in the middle layer), is characterized as polypropylene random of special crystallinity (PP-R 112) and due to its high mechanical strengths (especially at high temperatures) and due to its long life time, is classed according to DIN 8077/78 in the category MRS 11.2 MPa (PP-R 112), in contrast to the simple PP-R which is classed in the category MRS 8.0 MPa (PP-R 80).
Basic Advantages of Aqua-plus fiberglass
- Aqua Plus with fiber glass is to reduce the thermal linear expansion at 75% (0,030mm / m / ° C) compared with ordinary polypropylene tubes.
- Pressure resistance is 25% higher than ordinary PP-R pipes
- High rigidity
- Greater quantities of transferable water
- High lifespan particularly at elevated temperatures
- The thermal welding of the new pipes with fitting made with the same easiness like the classical pipes.
- Produced in Sdr 7,4 and Sdr 11
