Interplast: A new center for history, knowledge, and education in the Komotini Industrial Area
The inauguration and blessing ceremony of Interplast’s new Corporate Museum in the Komotini Industrial Area was conducted by His Eminence the Metropolitan of Maroneia and Komotini, Panteleimon, in the presence of our company's management and employees.
We have created a space that connects our manufacturing journey with the transfer of technical expertise.
Machinery from Interplast’s early days, alongside blueprints, documents, and photographic archives, showcase our evolution and the dedicated efforts of the people who supported it.
In the near future, we plan to utilize the new building to host international partners, representatives and members of plumbing associations, plumbing students, consultants, engineers, and academics. Through presentations, educational seminars, and the exchange of experiences, our goal is to establish a dynamic hub for information and collaboration, transferring our know-how to current and future professionals.
Interplast's founder, Tasos Rizopoulos, spoke about his vision for a space where the company's history becomes a source of knowledge for younger generations. He explained that the exhibits reflect not only the growth of our production but also the challenges and hard work that accompanied it.
As he emphasized, his desire is for this experience to be passed down to future generations. Furthermore, he described the facility as a jewel for the Industrial Area, the Rhodope region, Thrace, and the entire country.
Metropolitan Panteleimon wished health and prosperity to Tasos Rizopoulos, his family, and the employees, thanking them for their contribution to the region's progress.
Stating that "You put forth great effort and many struggles," he acknowledged their hard work and highlighted the value of labor and creativity for their families and future generations. He also expressed his gratitude for Tasos Rizopoulos's support of the Metropolis's "Table of Love" charity initiative, which provides daily meals to fellow citizens in need.
For us, the Corporate Museum represents a space for meeting and exchanging experiences. Guided by our history and firmly rooted in Komotini, we continue to invest in people, knowledge, and the global future of the industry. Exporting to over 75 countries across 5 continents, we champion international expansion daily, overcome obstacles, and claim our position in global markets with persistence and determination.
A comprehensive presentation of the building will follow in the near future.
