Warm praise from the Prime Minister for Interplast's innovative and extroverted path

The dynamically growing business activity of Interplast, which invests in research and innovation, was praised by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during his visit to the company's facilities in the Komotini Industrial Area, as part of his tour in Thrace. The choice of Interplast is recognition of a path of extroversion with a presence in more than 75 countries and a consistent creation of new job opportunities.

During his 45-minute presence, the Prime Minister was guided by the Chairman and CEO Tasos Rizopoulos, as well as the new generation of the company, John Rizopoulos, General Manager, and Zoe Rizopoulou, Director of Financial Services.

In his statements, Mr. Mitsotakis described the company as “the heart of a productive, extroverted, and innovative Greece,” and reiterated the government's commitment to support Greek manufacturing through the development law. He made particular mention of the new tax measures, emphasizing that new employees would be the first to benefit from the reductions.

The importance of Interplast's innovative products was also highlighted by Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos, who referred to it as “a model of productive transformation.” For his part, Tasos Rizopoulos noted that the company will continue on an even more extroverted and innovative path in the coming years. The Prime Minister was also accompanied by Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister Athanasios Kontogeorgis, Deputy Minister of the Interior, responsible for Macedonia and Thrace Kostas Gioulekas, MPs Evripidis Stylianidis and Kostas Skrekas from Rodopi and Trikala respectively, Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Christodoulos Topshidis, and other government local officials from the political sphere and local government.
