Interplast introduces the new PP-R OT system with fiberglass that essentially prevents oxygen (and other gases) from entering closed circuits.
This has the effect of dramatically reducing the chance of corrosion of the metal parts of the installation.
This specific type meets the requirements of EN ISO 21003 and was tested according to EN ISO 17455 for the impermeability of polypropylene plastic systems with oxygen barrier.

Notes
- Pipes from 20 mm to 160 mm have an oxygen blocking layer (OT). From 200 mm to 315 mm the pipes include special additives which do not allow oxygen to enter the system, in combination with the wall thickness and the geometry of the pipe.
- On the above pipes, "Oxygen Tight" is printed, as required by the international standard and in addition they are certified by the KIWA institute of Netherlands.
- Interplast provides complete equipment for cleaning the edges (peeling of the barrier layer), which is necessary for the safe process of thermal welding.
