Interplast, apart from single-wall Random (Type 3) polypropylene pipes, also manufactures three layer polypropylene - aluminium - polypropylene pipes. The new pipes are designed, manufactured and tested for quality, in compliance with the standards in effect for simple polypropylene pipes. 

Aqua-Plus – Al pipes are ranked in the same class as simple Aqua – Plus pipes: Class 2/10 bar (safety factor Sf=1.5), that is, they are designed to convey drinking water, with capacity for non-stop operation for a period greater than 50 years with network pressure 10 bar and water temperature 70o C, or alternatively capacity for non-stop operation at 20 bar pressure at 20o C (PN 20) for the same period of time.

Thermal-welding of the new pipes with the polypropylene fittings is as easy as in simple pipes, after their ends are processed with a scraper.
